Response to "Google lets users search for Internet blockers"

"Our ability to innovate still depends on end users being able to use their broadband connections to access Google. To the extent that consumers are having problems doing that, that can directly hurt Google."

Allowing users to change setting for blocked Internet sites is great for the consumer and for Google. I think, by doing this they will widen their possible consumer/advertising/video marketing capabilities and targeting capabilities. Other ISPs will be furious with Google, but they can do little because Google is a pioneer and benchmark for the online industry. I am certain any lawsuits will be quelled by them.

I am not sure I have much more to say about this because it's such a dated article.
